Fhemobile Documentation

Fhemobile is a native iPhone application which features controlling and monitoring of FHEM based house automation servers.

All FS20 devices (switches and dimmers) can be controlled. Furthermore the measured values of HMS temperature sensors (currently HMS-100TF and HMS-100T) and FHT heating controls and window sensors (FHT80B, FHT80TF) can be monitored.

Utilizing the FHEM telnet port, Fhemobile does not need access to any webinterface you may have installed.

Requirements

  • You need a running FHEM server. You can download it on this site. There are also Debian packages available.
  • You need to open the FHEM telnet port (usually 7072) to your LAN. You can do this by using the command “attr global port 7072 global“. Do not forward this port through your internet router! Instead, if you want to access your FHEM server from outside, use a VPN connection.
  • Please make sure that all devices you want to control with Fhemobile have a correct “model” attribute. For example, use “fs20di” for dimmer devices and for switches “fs20st“. Please use “fs20rst” for your shutter controls.
  • You need a genuine iPhone 3G/3GS/4G or an iPad. Fhemobile works fine on an iPod Touch 3G, too.
